Weight loss goal through running and conscious eating habit

While going for Ramanagara Trek on 21-6-2019 and 22-6-2019, I was not very fit weighing approximately 88 kgs. I enjoyed the trek so much that I wanted to attend the two day trek to Uttari Betta. However Karthik my coach said that to attend any trek beyond 1 day would require high fitness levels. Since I was overweight at that time, he said that I could not attend unless I lost weight and became fit to undertake such treks.

Karthik  gave me some tips on how to lose weight like do more of running, body stretches, brisk walking, meditation, breathing exercises, etc. He also emphasized on a proper balanced and nutritious diet. He also asked me to download Google Fit app through which I could monitor my record of activities like number of kilometers I walked, ran, heart points, calories, etc. 

It so happened that I was on leave from 8-7-2019 to 26-7-2019 and I took the opportunity to work on myself and concentrate on fitness. My daily schedule involved was as under:
6:00 a.m-6:40 a.m.-Wake up and do meditation and pranayama.
6:40 a.m.-7:00 a.m.- Body stretch exercises.
7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m.-Glass of warm water and go for 90 minute run.
9:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.- Come home, take bath and breakfast which consisted of one plate upma or one bowl cornflakes along with a bowl of sprouts and glass of milk.
 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.- No snacking, tea coffee.
1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.- Lunch which consisted of three chapatis (multigrain atta), one bowl of sabzi or dal.
2:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.- No snacking, tea coffee.
7:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.- Dinner which consisted of one plate upma or two dosas.
8:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.-A glass of hot milk with turmeric.

I followed the above routine consistently and lost weight by 5 kgs by 25th July when I joined back to office. At office, I was careful and took two chapatis and one bowl of sabzi and dal.
I was careful to take smaller portions at office since outside food will be oily.

I would like to suggest few people that in order to reduce weight, they should do some stretching, bending our body exercises, running, walking, push ups, meditation, breathing(pranayama), savasana, so that the muscles don't become weak and also body should need enough rest.

I therefore could maintain my weight till 83 kgs when again I had to take a break from work.
In the evening I used to go for a walk from 5:00 to 6:15 one hour fifteen minutes and maintain my diet and also my routine which I used to follow everyday in the evening from 20-8-2019 to
15-9-2019. From August till September I have been on a focused and good hard work and consistent.
At home I continued to follow my diet and exercise regime consistently and could come down to 78 kgs in one month time. My target is 75 kgs by 12th  October which is my birthday.

 I went for a 5 km Forum Purple Run on 15-9-2019 which was for cause of creating awareness on Alzheimer's disease which mostly occurs in senior citizens causing memory loss. I was very slim and my face was looking shining and chiseled. I was surprised that my T-shirt size had reduced from XL to L. I realized I am on the right path.

I wish to really thank Karthik for being a great and consistent motivator to me and his encouraging words ensured that I could maintain my regimen.
