My trip to Bhadravathi in October 2016

My vacation had started on 7-10-2016 and my parents and I had decided to visit Bhadravathi from 13-10-2016 to 16-10-2016. In the station we had seen various trains such as Jan Shatabdi Express, Bangalore trains and Mumbai trains. 

We had gone by Tolgappa Express 16227 from Bangalore on 13-10-2016 in the night and had reached Bhadravathi on 14-10-2016 in the morning.

After we had reached Bhadravathi station early morning we had gone by car Toyota Innova and the driver uncle was Manju and car number was KA 53 M 1476 to Vishweeshwarya Iron and Steel Plant Limited Rest House. 

We stayed at Room Number 18 A. 

While we had reached the rest house we had taken some rest in the morning for some time that is my father did not sleep well last night 13th October in the train and plus train reached at 4:18 am on 14th October and reached rest house at 4:50 am and my mother couldn't get good sleep in third AC so my mother slept in the sofa  and my father and I slept in the bed for 2 hours 15 minutes from 5:00 to 7:15 and had got up at 7:15 a.m. and had brushed our teeth and refreshed ourselves. 

After we had refreshed ourselves we had our breakfast and breakfast we took was idli and vada and my mother and I had relaxed after breakfast and had taken a walk outside the rest house. 

Daddy had some work in the plant and had to do inspection. My mother and I were in the rest house and were taking a walk outside the rest house seeing the museum, the garden with flowers, Tungabhadra house, the rest house which had looked like Thatha's Lucknow house. 

I slept for sometime as I was a little bit tired in the morning 14th October till lunch time and looked fresh and got good sleep in morning for sometime 11:30 to 13:00 pm.

Daddy had gone for 3 hours inspection of the plant and came back at 12:30 p.m. for lunch. We had our lunch and lunch was bhindi aloo beans sabzi roti sambar dal and had taken some rest in the afternoon.

In the afternoon we slept well and plus I couldn't get enough sleep in the train as it was third AC and felt a bit better and fresh and we took rest from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm and after we had taken rest, we had gone to see Bhadra dam by car at 3 pm.

We had seen Bhadra Dam where all the water gets stored in the Bhadra reservoir. From the dam the water is delivered through the gravitational head to the turbines and under the hydel force the electric power from turbines gets generated. We had seen the full sight-seeing of Bhadra Dam where the water flows and joins Tungabhadra river.

After we had seen Bhadra Dam we went to rest house in the evening and had tea and had freshened up and had got ready to go to Lakshmi Narasimahan temple.

 I had prayed to Goddess Lakshmi that I must do very well.

After the temple we had gone to the rest house. Daddy had to attend a small party in the rest house and he had a get together meeting with various officers. My mother and I were in the rest house seeing T.V., having dinner and  also enjoying the wind. We had taken dinner and dinner was cutlets starters some sabzi dal and I don't remember what was the dinner and had brushed out teeth and had gone off to sleep.

Next day on 15-10-2016 we had got up early in the morning and had got ready to go to Jog Falls. 

We went by car KA 53 M 1476 to Jog Falls after tea and breakfast and breakfast was dosa only with chutney at 8:40 a.m. and had reached Jog Falls at 11:40 a.m. We had seen the water flowing, how much power of water gets generated using turbines, the readings in the computer system, Mahatma Gandhi National Thermal Power Plant where water gets generated and gushed into river streams, the river Sharavathi where the main thermal electrical power gets generated and from hydel power the water goes into the pipes.Near the pipes, the dust burst and  the accident had taken place in river Sharavathi on 18-2-2016. We had seen the full Jog Falls and had taken some pictures of Jog Falls river. We had taken some packed lunch with us in the car. The packed lunch was vegetable cutlets and sandwich and some chips.

  

The tour guide had taken all of us including Dhakappa Uncle to Jog Falls. After we had seen Jog Falls we came back to Bhadravathi rest house.

On reaching the rest house, I had taken a wash and Daddy had taken me to show the plant of Vishweeshwarya Iron and Steel Limited Factory.  We had to wear helmets to go inside the plant. When we had gone inside the plant we had seen how the iron gets manufactured and forms into a pig iron. The iron had to be manufactured using coke and iron ore through gets manufactured and reduction reactions takes place.

After seeing the plant we went to the rest house and had tea and had seen T.V. We had taken dinner and dinner was roti some sabzi dal don't know what was the dinner in the rest house and after finishing dinner we had taken a little bit rest and had refreshed our body and had gone to Bhadravathi station to take Tolgappa Express to Bangalore.

We had left by Tolgappa Express 16228 from Bhadravathi on 15-10-2016 in the night and had reached Bangalore on 16-10-2016 in the early morning. Even 15th October night while coming back I couldn't get good sleep in third AC because train reached at 4:30 am and plus it was very early in the morning so from the station we went home and had slept well for sometime in the morning from 5:00 to 8:30 in morning and looked fresh.

We had a nice and an enjoyable trip to Bhadravathi and had enjoyed ourselves.
