Terry Fox Run Event on 28-09-2019 at Canadian International School

Karthik and I had gone to Canadian International School to participate in Terry Fox Run 5 kilometers event on 28-09-2019. The event started with welcoming various participants and the people were talking about Terry Fox who had lost his leg and had to get his leg amputated even though Terry Fox was able to run in more than 100 days continuously non-stop. Terry Fox had leg cancer and he had died of cancer. Terry Fox run was the event which is been happening after 40 years. The people from Cyte Care Hospital had come and were talking about how chemotherapy cancer and cervological cancer treatment was taken for patients and how leprology cancer will be undertaking treatment that is dead cells have to be removed and transplanted in to liver. Terry Fox had cancer and his right leg was removed and later to raise funds and create awareness for cancer research, he ran 143 days covering 5373 km.

During the event time the cap, wrist band and badge had to be given before running event took place. Karthik had taken a photo of me before running event took place.

 Before the run event had started, we had to do some warm up exercises as we need to get energy to     run so that we don't get pain in our legs while running.

 After the running event, then we went under the shade and had to rest and do some breathing exercises and relaxing.

Once when the run event got over, Karthik had taken a photo in front of the board "I am a supporter of Terry Fox Team". I had written in the board saying that I dedicate this run to Mani Thatha, my grandfather. My grandfather, Mani Thatha had stomach cancer and he died of stomach cancer.
